How it Works

Now that you’ve checked out the different options to solve most tunnel pains, you know what you’d like Orisha to take over.

Most likely, your time is already stretched. That makes trying something new intimidating.

No matter how wonderful the change is, before jumping in, you need to know :

  • How much time is needed to get up and running ?
  • Should I expect roadblocks or bad surprises ?
  • What help can I get if I get stuck in the process ?
  • Is it hard to operate ?

At any step in the process, you can always call us if you get stuck. From figuring out what you need to the busy harvest season, you won’t be alone !

What you need to get started

  • A greenhouse, high tunnel, cold house, or hoop house. No matter what it’s called. As long as you don’t want to stress out about burning something in it!
  • A power outlet or even an extension cord in the structure
  • No. You don’t need Wi-Fi in your structure.

Subscribe to Your Ideal Greenhouse Assistant

There are many things you can get off your plate. The low-hanging fruit is to get started with delegating side ventilation. Then you can delegate disease prevention, time-consuming irrigation, rain and wind protection.

The important thing is that you pick what you are comfortable with to get started right away. Most folks regret not trying it sooner. If you disagree, you can get your money back!

No matter what you choose to delegate, you get 2 options. Either you pay as you go (good to reduce financial pressure) or you buy Lifetime Access (good when you get a grant !).

Surprise-Prevention Call

After you subscribe, you’ll get a call from us to make sure you receive everything you need to specifically fit your setup (pipe diameter, motor specs, etc.). That’s 5-10 minutes to keep you from :

  • Doing 6 back and forth to the hardware store
  • Spend an extra xxxx$ because of a misunderstanding
  • The feeling that your setup doesn’t fit what the instructions say

Let’s make sure you avoid sneaky time-wasters!

Plug in the Equipment

Plan for 1 to 4 hours depending on which responsibilities Orisha takes over. You’ll get step-by-step instructions to follow.

Have you ever done basic electrical work?
Congrats, you’re qualified for the job!
Otherwise, an enlightened friend or electrician can help you.

⚠️  Fans, shutters and peak vent delegation might get you exposed to 120/240V. Hire an electrician to finish that part if you’re not comfortable. It’s recommended to plug these devices into a second phase if you feel intimidated.

Tell Orisha What You Want

Take 5 minutes to tell Orisha what conditions you want in your tunnels, or simply use the default. It’s great for most summer crops.

Here’s how to do it.

As always, if you have a question, just  reach out !
